Heather Bessinger, Real Estate Consultant

Ms. Bessinger has been a part of MaRous & Company since late 2023. Prior to joining MaRous & Company, Heather practiced law in the Chicago area and Milwaukee, and is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin. Her practice focused primarily on commercial litigation, including appeals, land use, real estate, property taxation, and business torts. Heather earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, holds a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University. Prior to becoming an attorney, Heather also spent ten years in accounting and finance.

At MaRous & Company, Heather skillfully aims to provide consulting services related to land use and litigation for developers, public bodies, law firms, and private parties. She will continue to add to her knowledge by participating in continuing education programs through the Appraisal Institute.
