Joey MaRous, Energy Consultant
Prior to joining MaRous & Company in 2017, Joey was active in commercial and industrial construction management since 2006. Joey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, is a Certified Green Builder through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and has a 30-Hour Certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA).
Initially at MaRous & Company, Joey worked on and studied the appraisal of general real estate such as commercial, industrial, office, vacant land, hotels, and motels. Quickly, Joey’s interest continued to be directed toward renewables and renewable energy. Therefore, he made it his mission to spearhead the renewable energy consulting sector of MaRous & Company that offers to numerous developers and litigators.
Now, his work primarily consists of providing consulting services related to renewable energy for developers, public bodies, law firms, and private parties.
He now has consulting and valuation experience with renewable energy projects across the United States of America in connection with:
- Wind Energy
- Solar Energy
- Projects related to renewable energy, such as, transmission lines and power plants
Joey is committed to the renewable energy field and is continually expanding his knowledge base in this cutting-edge industry. He also continues to participate in qualifying education programs from the Appraisal Institute in pursuit of an Illinois Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License and the MAI designation.
